Cajun
Loft and
Mr.
Eneise
Breaux
located
in Baton
Rouge
La.
Eneise
has had
an
exceptional
rookie
season
winning
6 club
races
and 3
combine
races at
the
young
age of
70 years
old.
Cajun
Loft
races
with the
Baton
Rouge
Flying
Tigers
Club of
Baton
Rouge
Louisiana
and the
Mid
South
Louisiana
Combine.
Cajun
loft has
finished
its
young
bird
season
with 20
young
birds
and is
looking
forward
to the
old bird
season.
Eneise
was
introduced
to the
sport by
2003
I.F.Rookies
of the
Year
Sister’s
loft of
Colebrook
Connecticut.
After
visiting
his
grand
children
in
Connecticut
in the
spring
of 2003,
he was
inspired
to enter
the
sport of
pigeon
racing.
He then
went
home to
Baton
Rouge
and
built a
small
back
yard
loft.
After
months
of
construction,
done a
little
at a
time he
finished
his
loft. In
early
December
of 2003
he sent
to
Sisters
loft for
his
stock
Birds.
His
foundation
stock
consisted
of of
birds
from
Sister’s
Loft
race
team and
birds
from
Bill
Capuano
whom he
was
introduced
to by
his
grand
daughters.
The
travesty
in this
is that
more
often
than not
it’s the
grand
parents
introducing
the
grand
kids not
the
other
way
around.
It is
amazing
how
infectious
the
enthusiasm
of youth
is in
this
sport.
Eneise
said he
owed his
success
to grand
daughters
Jolie
and
Natalie
whom
said
they
would
not send
him any
junk
pigeons
and they
sent him
their
best. He
also
says
with a
gleam in
his eye
“I had
to
perform
well
because
at my
age I
don’t
have
time to
mess
around”.
Eneise’s
only
regret
in
pigeon
racing
is that
he did
not
start
earlier.
His wife
of 47
year’s
Anita
says
that he
dearly
loves
his
birds
and
racing.
In fact
she says
he has
gone
pigeon
crazy.
Grandpa
Eneise
is
looking
forward
to
helping
his
granddaughters
scrape
and
clean
the
loft. “I
can’t
wait to
be able
to race
with my
granddaughters”
being
retired
leaves a
lot of
free
time to
help
with all
of the
pigeon
chores.
It will
be great
to sit
out in
the
swimming
pool and
wait for
the
birds to
come
home on
race day
with the
entire
family.
